Nike Basketball contacted IDL because they wanted to do something special for Kevin Durant’s 10 year anniversary shoe. The KDX Seeding Kit is a celebration of Durant’s impressive career thus far and the teams and cities he has represented along the way.
The swirling colors of the KDX shoe are a combination of the teams Durant has played for. We used these teams and some iconography from their cities to inform our creative decisions while designing the different pieces for the kit.
